America has always been built by skilled hands.
From the first railroads and bridges to today's hospitals, schools, factories, homes, and power grids, generations of craftsmen and trades professionals have shaped the nation we call home.
Yet many of these careers receive little recognition despite their essential role in our daily lives.
Hands That Build America was created to help change that. We proudly support organizations dedicated to mentoring the next generation, creating opportunities, preserving craftsmanship, and strengthening the skilled trades that keep America moving forward.

Through the largest trade scholarship program in the country, the Mike Rowe Works Foundation invests in people by putting them on a path to essential work. And through targeted, state-by-state campaigns, they’re changing how Americans think about the jobs that keep our country running—and why they matter now more than ever.
HELMETS TO HARDHATS
Helps transition our military heroes into successful civilian careers in the building trades.
H2H is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit joint labor-management driven entity that connects transitioning active-duty military service members, veterans, National Guard and Reservists with skilled training and quality career opportunities in the construction industry.
Since 2003, H2H has helped close to 50,000 military personnel successfully transfer into civilian careers in the construction trades.
TOOLS & TIARAS
Tools & Tiaras help girls learn trade skills by exposing, inspiring, and mentoring them to excel in those areas.
At Tools & Tiaras Inc., we are dedicated to empowering girls aged 6-14 with the empowering message that "Jobs Don't Have Genders®." Through our innovative Expose. Inspire. Mentor. program, we offer hands-on workshops and immersive summer camps focused on skilled trades and STEAM careers. Our mission is to break down stereotypes and redefine the concept of "women's work," opening up a world of possibilities for young girls.
We believe in equipping girls with the essential skills and unwavering confidence they need to pursue their dreams and shape the future they envision. By participating in our programs, girls discover their potential and gain the tools to succeed in any field they choose.
