Moe DeFronzo’s career in the welding industry has been a thirty-year monument to the grit and
evolution of the craft. He entered the trade out of necessity, landing a job at a friend’s shop and
learning the ropes from an "old school" generation of tradesmen. In those early days, there were no
shortcuts. Every piece of steel was cut by hand torch and every hole was punched manually. While he
has witnessed the industry shift toward CNC machines and automated programming, Moe remains a
staunch advocate for the traditional skills that define a true craftsman.
Now serving as a Department Head, he balances high-level oversight with the same disciplined work
ethic he developed on day one, ensuring his production shop meets the highest standards.

When Moe is not working, he’s creating art—whether it’s in his music as a drummer for a local metal
band, or his photography where he shares the world through his eyes. As a photographer, Moe
captures a singular, haunting intersection of industrial grit and natural stillness. In the first
light of day, the warehouse waterfront transforms a harsh, industrial workspace into a cathedral of
light and shadow, where the morning fog acts as a natural soft-box to diffuse the sharp lines of
the environment into a cinematic, ethereal backdrop. This atmosphere is pierced by the brilliant
arc of his welder’s torch, a practical light source that illuminates the mist and contrasts sharply
with the cold steel.

When asked about what inspires his photography, Moe said, 'It’s the quiet rhythm of the morning,
